Talcher Fertilizers Limited is building India’s first coal gasification–based ammonia–urea complex — a project engineered from the ground up to convert high-ash domestic coal into plant nutrition. Every unit, from coal gasification and gas clean-up through air separation, ammonia synthesis and urea production, has been designed around internationally proven licensed process technology and is being executed on a lump-sum turnkey basis under the close supervision of TFL’s multi-disciplinary engineering team. Rigorous design reviews, HAZOP studies, third-party inspection and stage-wise quality assurance govern every drawing, weld and equipment package, ensuring a complex built to the highest standards of safety, reliability and constructability.
